Sandy sold sea salt soaps by the seashore... Say that fast 3x! I found these treats at The Shore Soap Company, in Newport, Rhode Island. In case you've never been, there's tons of shops, cafes, and things to do. I, of course, choose to spend most of my time there shopping.
The Warm Sand soap bar's fragrance is defined by olive and coconut oils with sea salt. I really get a whiff of the sea salt. It brings me back to being at the beach. The Atlantic and Pacific Bars are a perfect duo because their fragrances are total opposites. Plus, the names are cute. I do love a good exfoliant, so if I had to choose a favorite, it would definitely be The Atlantic Bar. Sorry Pacific!
The Atlantic Bar pulls off a nice balancing act with sea salt (the exfoliant) and shea butter (the moisturizer), which is a healthy combo for your skin. Just a tip: Exfoliating too much can dry out your skin! The Pacific Bar has sea kelp extract, which is actually great for gaining and retaining moisture in your skin. P.S.- It's the fatty acids that help the sea kelp extract do that for your skin. And it smells like two of my favorite hints-- lemon and lavender.
