Valentine’s Day Nail Inspo

Here’s the IG Guide for 2022 Valentine's Day Nail Inspo, but with a few more deets on the nail designs and the talented nail stylists that created them.

Basic Heart Mani

This nail design was inspired by a manicure by Leapia, an NYC nail salon, that I found on Instagram. Check out the screenshot below. The base color of my design is coded #297, but I don’t recall the actual color, which I got done at 3D Nails in Kenvil, NJ. I know the location is very random, but the locals all recommended this nail salon and I was told to ask for Drey or Judi.

Heart Slasher

This stylishly edgy manicure was inspired by another Paintbox client’s nails that I saw during one of my last visits. It’s basically “The Saturdays” nail design using an oxblood red color finished with white lines across. I believe this manicure design can be done in both gel and regular polish.

I love this nail design because it’s quick and easy, if you’re in a rush, but also a great style for any occasion. Check out “The Saturdays” in black and yellow!

Hot Stud

This beautifully studded gel manicure was created by Paintbox, using the “Rachel Comey” nail design in the “coral” shade of red with a gold stud. I’ve gotten the same mani done for a different occasion using lavender. Check it out here on IG!

Pink & Red

This minimalistic manicure was also created by Paintbox, using their “Double Dose” design in a very light pink and bright cherry red polish for the dotted design.

Time to Heal

This mani consists of these four colors from Essie’s Treat, Love &Color collection — Loving Hue, Finish Line Fuel, Power Punch Pink, and Can’t Hardly Weight (from left to right). Shop these gorgeous polishes on LTK!
